ABOUT ME

My name is Lindsay Aratari & I live in Buffalo, NY.  I am a native of MA & will never forget my roots.  My husband & I got married in the summer of 2015 & there is no one else I would rather be on this adventure through life with.  He is the muscle behind a lot of my projects.  DIY projects are a constant in our home & you will always find something new & exciting happening at the Aratari Abode.  My friends & family always joke & say, ‘does your home ever stay the same for more than a day?’  To that, the answer is always no!  Constantly moving & changing things up brings new life to old pieces.  If I am not at home writing blog posts or doing some DIY project, you will probably find me out at some of my favorite antique stores. 

 

Being that we are both Italian, cooking & baking is another favorite hobby of mine.  I enjoy trying new recipes or making recipes passed down from our families.  There really is nothing better than a homemade Sunday pasta dinner!  Family time is so important to us & we love hosting guests at our house.  We just purchased our first home in March of 2015 & I am so proud of all we have accomplished so far.
