Bathroom Built-Ins
Our home is full of built-ins. It's one of the things that we fell in love with in this house. These white, pretty built-ins are located in our first floor powder room & I'm just obsessed!
They are simply stunning & the workmanship that went into them many years ago really shows. The casings around the shelves is amazing. I wanted to keep it very light, bright, & airy therefore lots of glass jars, white towels, & just a touch of dried lavender complete these beauties.
I have dried lavender sprinkled all over our home. It reminds me of our wedding day since that was what my bridesmaids carried. It also adds a touch of color to very neutral spaces. I love how it lays too! My Voluspa Candle is so pretty! The actual jar is so fun & girly with the scalloped edges, but it also smells heavenly. Perfect for a bathroom scent. Of course a bathroom wouldn't be complete without some white hand towels!
The next couple shelves were curated with some jars from around the house. I picked up the Apothecary Jar & jar with the lid at Home Goods. I thought they were so cute & fun for our little built-ins. The next shelf has a little candle lantern & 3 glass jars from Hobby Lobby. The detailed little jar is from Magnolia.
The last shelf has some of my favorite things: Milk Glass! Do you have any Milk Glass in your home? I LOVE it! It adds so much character to any place you put the pieces. I am starting to collect Milk Glass as I'm doing more junkin' through antique shops. The best part is that it is relatively inexpensive :)
