Fall Tablescape

I challenged myself to create a simple Fall Tablescape using only items I had in the house already. Essentially, I "shopped my house." If you're like me, you always want to have new home decor pieces, but with being on a tight budget, I can't always buy new. Shopping your home for things you already have is such a fun way to bring new life to things that are somewhat older. I wanted to create something easy, fun, and seasonal so here is what I came up with!

First I layered 2 place mats on top of one another. I got these place mats from Home Goods a few years back. I didn't have any chargers so I thought this would be a great base for the table setting.

Next up are the plates. The first plate is the Dinner Plate from Crate & Barrel from their Aspen Collection. I love that they can be used for formal dinners or casually. They are a plain white with no detailing which I just love. I can always mix & match them with different colored dinner ware, flat ware, place mats, etc. I added the Salad Plate on top which is from Macy's from their Maison Versailles Blanc Colette Collection. I love all the detailing on the salad plate. Again, so easy to mix & match with any table ware I want.

I then added the Salad Bowl from Crate & Barrel's Aspen Collection & topped it with a green apple. I love the punch of color these cutie green apples add. Just the perfect break up for all the neutral tones going on.

I decided to use copper mugs for the drink glasses because I'm loving copper for Fall. I put them on top of my wood slice coasters to bring in some more natural elements. The copper mugs are from Pier 1 which I saw are on sale now & the wood slice coasters are from TJ Maxx.

I topped off the table setting with some napkins I picked up around Christmas time last year from Target. They have gold accents which are a fun pop of metallic & tie into the copper mugs.

I kept my center piece the same that I showed more details of in my Early Fall Home Tour which you can check out, here.

What do you think of this table setting? Not bad for already having these pieces laying around the house. I am sure this will change again, but I wanted to share some simple ways to use some pieces that you already have in your home. You can really switch up the colors of the dishes, napkins, mugs, and place mats. You could use different fruit, depending on what you have such as pears, oranges, figs, etc. This is just what I had around the house right now.

I love making table settings & staging the table in different ways.

What's your go to fall table setting look like?

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
