DIY Glass Jar Hanging
Happy Sunday!
With all of our Christmas decor put away, our Chalk Painted Shutter doors (which you can read about here) were looking a little bare. They had some holly wreaths over the holidays, but they have since been taken down. I was thinking of replacing the holly wreaths with different year round wreaths, but as I looked around our living room, I realized I already had a wreath on our antique gate & on our barn door. I didn't want to over kill the wreaths so I came up with this simple DIY project.
I just love the look of Lamb's Ear so I wanted to incorporate it into this project.

What You Will Need:
- Lamb's Ear (or your favorite greenery)
- 2 Glass Jars (number depends on how many you want to make) - Scissors
- Twine

Directions:
1. Cut the Lamb's Ear & 2 pieces of twine to your desired length
2. Take the twine & wrap it around the neck of the glass jar making sure to leave some extra length for hanging
3. Tie a knot in the twine so that it stays looped around the neck of the jar
4. Take the extra twine that is not wrapped around the glass jar & tie a knot so that there is a loop in the twine. This will be what the twine is hung from. See below for a photo of what they will look like complete before hanging.

5. Place the Lamb's Ear in the jar & hang it where you would like

This is such a simple DIY project, but I love how they turned out. I like the rustic touch the twine adds to the jars. Lamb's Ear has been some of my favorite greenery lately. I love the light green hue of them with the touch of white. I have Lamb's Ear scattered throughout the house. I cannot get enough of it!
Did you do any fun DIY projects this weekend?
