Sliding Barn Doors

Happy Sunday!

We officially have sliding barn doors up & running in our home!!!! I am so excited about these! They add so much more character & detail to the living room. The barn doors were made by our friend, Matt. Check him out on Instagram here. He has made a lot of things for our home which you can check out here. He also helped us install these barn doors because they are super heavy & these walls are cement which are not easy to drill through. I think they turned out amazing!

We got the hardware from Amazon (HERE). We used the 12 ft hardware since we have 2 doors. I love the black hardware & how it ties into the lamps. I also like the contrast of the gray walls with the white doors & black hardware. This living room has a much more farmhouse vibe now.

The doors are painted with Rustoleum Linen White Chalk Paint. I looked on Pinterest to find some doors I loved & Matt was able to combine a few options into these perfect doors!

Below is a view of what the barn doors look like from sitting in our sun room. They create such a cozy ambiance in here. They help to really close off the space when we are each wanting to watch different TV shows ;)
